Hello Everyone...again...

Well, I had to recreate my blog because my old one got deleted. So I will introduce myself again.

I am in my mid-30's and started school again about 2 years ago. I will have my degree in Information Technology in about 2 years (God willing).

I go by the name sonicaretak on this board. The name is a combination of two names. Sonic, being Sonic the Hedgehog and Aretak, being an artifact for a Nintendo Gamecube game (the name of the game eludes me right now).

I started collecting comics again about two years ago. I read my brothers comics during the 80's and stopped reading around the 90's. Now I am buying again and have been sucked into the stories.

I also like movies. I have a very good entertainment system at home. I goto the movies when there is an event (I got my Spider-man 3 tickets already).

I like video games as well, although I do not play as often as I used to. As I have gotten older, I have noticed my skills deterioate. However, I do still try to play them.

I support the Iraq War, but I do question how it has been handled. I do believe Bush has made mistakes, but I do not consider him an evil man as others have made him out to be.

My political standing is Independent and I am middle of the road, although I do tend to lean more right on issues.

I do not beleive what is written in the newspapers or what is shown on the television news. When an new story breaks out, I try to find other points of views, as I find that most news organizations seem to have an agenda now.

What do I plan to post? Anything that comes to mind. That is what blogging is all about. Kinda like a journal.

And finally...the name of my blog...this comes from the show Deadwood. There is a saloon called the number 10. It is also the place where Wild Bill Hickock was killed (in the series anyway...not sure if the number 10 was a real saloon in Deadwood).
